CLIMB SCAFELL PIKE

Climb England's Highest Mountain (978m / 3209ft)!

Scafell Pike from Wasdale - Our most popular guided walk

Around 5 miles, with 900m of ascent, this walk usually takes between 5 - 7 hrs to complete.

Although it is sometimes considered the "easiest" way to the summit, it is still a big challenge for many, the route is steep and on rough ground.

You are however rewarded (usually) with incredible views right across the North of England, Scotland, the Isle of Man and sometimes even North Wales, and of course a huge sense of achievement.

Cost

£165.00 per group (up to 6 participants)

CLIMB HELVELLYN VIA STRIDING EDGE

Voted "Britain's best walk" in 2018, and we have to agree.

At 950m / 3117ft, Helvellyn is the third highest mountain in England.

There are several routes to the summit, but our favourite has to be this one - The infamous Striding Edge.

Staring in Glenridding, this route is classed as a grade 1 scramble, which means that, although we wont be rock-climbing, you will need to use your hands in places, and will definitely need a head for heights. Once over the summit, we descend via a second ridge scramble, Swirral Edge (also grade 1).

Quite simply, the best mountain day in England!! (IMO)

Cost £165.00 per group (max. 5)

Catbells mountain summit cairn with view

CLIMB CATBELLS

At 451m / 1480 ft, family favourite Catbells gives a fantastic, family friendly, introduction to Hill-walking and Mountaineering in the Lake District.

Despite is stature, Catbells has a genuine mountain feel to it, with some steep sections, and even a bit of easy scrambling to keep things entertaining.

Starting and finishing at Hawesend, near Keswick, an ascent of Catbells takes around 3-4 hours.

Suitable for ages 7+ (possibly younger if they are fit and active - give us a call to discuss!)

Cost

£165.00 per group (up to 6 participants)
