Half day kayak sessions on Windermere - England's largest lake.

Based at Fell Foot park, at the southern end of Windermere.

Your instructor and guide will help you choose a boat and paddle, before getting on the water. We'll spend a bit of time getting used to the boats, with plenty of top tips from your instructor, before heading off onto the lake - where we go will depend on the group and conditions, but we've loads of options - this is the biggest lake in England after all!

Will I get wet?

Maybe?? Probably?? You won't necessarily get completely soaked, but we can't guarantee you won't - best come prepared!

Do I need to be able to swim?

We will provide you with a Buoyancy Aid which will help keep you afloat. You don't have to be a strong swimmer, but water confidence is a must. Give us a call for a chat if you're not sure

Timings

These are half day sessions, starting at 0930 and 1330.

Exact finishing times will depend on the group and the conditions on the day, but expect the session to last 2 - 3 hours
